Drawing from the lush color of Zhaozhuang cinnabar, this teapot emulates the elegant pear-shaped style of the Song Dynasty. A curved stream resembles a new moon emerging from the clouds, a ringed handle draped like a ribbon catching the wind, and the body of the teapot stands proudly like branches weighed down by fresh snow. The red clay, stained with crimson, resembles a rosy forest. The fine sand body captures the true flavor of the tea, while the rounded pear-shaped belly captures the clear rhythm of the universe. When the tea is poured, the water streams like a spring falling among pines, and the water is drawn back with the same smoothness as the tip of a brush.
